Algebra 1
If you have already taken Pre-Algebra or 8th-grade math, we offer an Algebra 1 course structured to meet your needs. The class will cover Algebra 1 basics at a fast, but easy-to-understand pace.
College Entrance Exam Prep
Applying for college is an overwhelming task for any student. That's why we help you prepare for college entrance exams to help ensure a spot at your first-choice school. We work with the THEA practice test, Accuplacer tests, the SAT, the ACT, and other college entrance exams. Bring your prep book or printouts to class and we'll go over the topics you need help with.
Green Globs™ & Graphing
Learn the wonders of graphing equations through a very cool graphing software game, called Green Globs. This class is open to students in 8th grade as well as to adults. You'll learn how and why "x" and "y" are so important in mathematics and graphing, as well as many other fun and exciting aspects. Please note that laptops are required to take this class.
Geometry
If you already took Algebra 1 and have a firm understanding of the subject, then you're ready to take a class on geometry. Our head tutor spent her last years in the classroom as a geometry teacher and is more than excited to teach you all about this elementary aspect of the sciences.
